Cork and Parquetry Specialists began servicing the Geelong area in the 1980s. It was established by Stirling Hassell who began sanding floors in Geelong back in 1954. It is a totally family owned and operated business specialising in parquetry and timber floorboards.
Stirling started Cork and Parquetry Specialists because he saw the need for a company that didn't just sand floors but was involved in the whole process from choosing the timber to laying, then sanding and polishing using only the best quality materials.
At Cork and Parquetry Specialists we do a whole lot more than the name suggests. We can lay floorboards on concrete or virtually any flat sound sub floor. We can do fancy inlays and parquetry patterns in your timber floors. We have a variety of more than 80 different timber species to choose from when selecting a parquet floor. Ranging from fantastic local timber sourced from every state in Australia, to exotic timbers from America, Africa, Asia and Europe. All of our staff are fully trained professionals with an extensive amount of experience in the industry.
